IB Diploma Biology HL, topic C1

Molecules (Interaction and interdependence)

How molecules interact to drive life. Enzymes catalyse and control the network of metabolism, cell respiration transfers energy from carbon compounds to ATP, and photosynthesis transforms light energy into chemical energy in carbon compounds. HL adds enzyme inhibition, the detailed pathways of respiration and the light-dependent and light-independent reactions.
